Over 500 children attended a special Christmas evening organised by the Haskins
Garden Centre at West End, Southampton to fundraise for Naomi House, the children’s
hospice. Father Christmas and his band of helpers offered children activities
including story telling, glitter tattoos, a raffle and donations.

Fundraising Success for Worthing MENCAP
Thanks to the generosity of Christmas shoppers, the helpers and members of the
Worthing MENCAP society raised £445 in just one day (Sunday 6 December)
of collecting at the Haskins Roundstone Garden Centre. The money will contribute
to the running costs of Buddys, the information centre and café operated
by the charity on South Farm Road, Worthing, which opened 3 years ago.
