Welcome

“Thanks to the generosity of our customers and the efforts of our staff, Haskins has over the years raised thousands of pounds for a variety of local charities.”

Our centres are proud to be associated with the following charities:

Nominated Charity for
Haskins Ferndown & Head Office:

John Thornton

Lieutenant John 'JT' Thornton Royal Marine from Ferndown, Dorset was tragically killed aged 22 in Southern Afghanistan on 30th March 2008. John lived his dream and died doing the job he loved.

The John Thornton Foundation was set up to advance the lives of, and help, young people who are studying at Ferndown Upper School, are members of the Air Cadets' Dorset & Wiltshire Wing, or who are members of the Air Cadet Junior Leaders' Course. This is done by providing financial assistance for, especially but not exclusively, leisure time activities and pursuits, so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

Nominated Charity for
Haskins Roundstone:

Chestnut Logo

Chestnut Tree House is the only children's hospice in Sussex and cares for children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses from all over the county.

Just imagine what it would be like to nurse your child for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, perhaps while having to look after other young children at the same time. Imagine having to come to terms with the fact that your child will die before you do and to live with the knowledge that your other children may be affected too. Chestnut Tree
