The charity’s scientists and doctors work in over fifty of the top research centres across the UK seeking to improve diagnosis of blood disorders and treatments for patients, and to find a cure for blood cancers. They support patients, their families and friends by providing them with a free information service including a range of over 40 publications.

Nominated Charity for
Haskins Roundstone:

Jamie’s Wish Logo

Jamie’s Wish grants wishes across the UK to children and young people up to the age of 25 that have a life threatening illness. They also help these children and young people, and their families, by providing a grant in order to ease their financial situation during this often stressful time. Wishes are granted to bring a little joy to these children. Jamie’s Wish operates from the support of Jamie’s family, friends and volunteers, who donate their own time to help run Jamie’s Wish events. These events raise the money that make wishes come true. Jamie Terry was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour in December 2003, and he bravely fought for three and a half years against the disease.
