Haskins Garden Centre in Ferndown has welcomed a new restaurant manager with more than 25 years’ experience as a trained chef.
Roger Tate joins with experience of running his own restaurant business on Poole Quay, as well as prior restaurant management experience at the Haskins Garden Centre in Ferndown.
On his appointment, Roger commented: “I’m all about food and customer service so I’m excited to be back at Haskins and delivering the next chapter for the restaurant. I have a real passion for developing tasty and wholesome dishes which create a lovely comfort feeling for customers.”
Haskins restaurant offers Costa Coffee, a range of lunchtime snacks, cakes and pastries as well as a daily carvery and stone baked pizza. The catering team is made up of 80 staff.
Ben Harrison group catering manager at Haskins, added: “With Roger at the helm I have no doubt that we will be able to maintain the high levels of customer service to which our customers have become accustomed.”
Haskins Garden Centres is located in Ferndown in Dorset, West End in Southampton and Roundstone and Snowhill in West Sussex.
