Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice were delighted to receive a donation from our Snowhill centre recently. During 2015, the children’s hospice in Arundel became the centre’s Charity of the Year, with the staff arranging events and collecting donations from the public.
Chestnut Tree House Community Fundraiser, Jo Smith, said, “We are so very grateful to have been part of the fundraising at Haskins Snowhill. All the staff put in so much time and effort with the Halloween and Christmas events while customers were also generous with their donations. At Chestnut Tree House our goal is to provide the best quality of life for children, young people and their families. It costs well over £3.5 million each year to provide all our care services. We rely heavily on the generosity, help and support of the local community and we are so grateful to be working with Haskins Snowhill. Many thanks for all your help.”
David Lilly, the General Manager of the Snowhill based centre, responded, “I am delighted to support and raise awareness of Chestnut Tree House. They will continue as the Snowhill Centre’s 2016 Charity of the Year and the staff looking forward to helping them again.”
