The Haskins Roundstone Garden Centre has opened a new cook shop as part of its enhanced layout of the key departments. The introduction of a permanent cook shop follows the success last year of a pop up shop in January. Nick Joad the General Manager at Haskins said that they are now able to help gardeners to grow their own, then cook their own.
“You could say we provide from Pot to the Pot. Our grow-your-own section is popular thanks to the wide range of vegetable and fruit plants, herbs and seed packs, that we offer. Once they have grown and picked their own, our customers can cook their own!”
The new centre, constructed on the 15 acre site of the original Roundstone centre in 2012, saw turnover reach £8.4 million last year.
