Paul Burnett-Kirk presents Haskins’ Sue Ross the para plaque.
Paul Burnett-Kirk, the Honorary Secretary and Treasurer for the Worthing branch of the Parachute Regimental Association presented a plaque to the Haskins Roundstone Garden Centre to thank their team for their support. Over the 3 years of fundraising at the Centre, former Paratrooper, Paul estimates that over £800 has been raised thanks to the generosity of customers donating change and notes into their collection tins.
“We want to show our appreciation to everyone who has helped to raise this significant sum of money which will go to selected organisations, including Airborne Security, PRA Afghan Trust and the British Limbless Ex-Service Men’s Association, who support the wellbeing of former personnel that have served in conflicts over the decades since the Second World War,” said Paul, who served in Egypt and Cyprus during his 8 years service. “Haskins look after us very well during our days of fundraising for which we also wish to show our gratitude.”
