Haskins staff achieve Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management as part of Haskins on-going commitment to training and development.
Personnel from across the four Haskins Garden Centres and Head Office have gained their Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management. The eleven members of staff, who have all previously completed their Level 2 Certificate in Leadership and Team Skills, have been attending a series of day courses over 14 months, arranged through Bournemouth & Poole College and tutored by Marion Atherton.
This is the first time that Haskins has offered the higher Level 4 Qualification, which comprises of a series of assignments and a final group presentation. Haskins Chief Executive, Julian Winfield said he was very impressed with the course presentations and delighted that everyone had passed at that level.
Kevin Ramsell, Ferndowns Restaurant General Manager was also chosen for the Student Award of 2015. Kevin’s achievements were impressive as was his approach to the qualification which was characterised by determination, application and tenacity. The skills learnt have broadened his knowledge and built his confidence in his leadership and management ability.
