The Sussex Heart Charity supports care of the Heart throughout sussex.

They have promoted excellence in cardiac related funding concerning the following: Purchasing of equipment, funding education and research, supporting cardiac rehabilitation service with those with heart disease, promote and coordinate The Community Resuscitation training Scheme.Though based at The Royal Sussex County Hospital, they are an independant Charity and are funded from donations, legacies and fundraising activities.
