Haskins personnel were delighted to be awarded with their Institute of Management Level 4 award in Leadership and Management certificates this month.
The members of staff, who have all previously completed the Level 2 Certificate in Leadership and Team Skills, have put their new knowledge into practice, contributing to the achievement of many industry awards for their centres this year.
Kathryn Crouch, Indoor Team Leader at Haskins West End said, “I’m so glad I pushed myself to achieve this qualification. I’ve enjoyed learning about the different requirements of the business and the teams within it.”
Sarah Austwick, Merchandise Controller at Haskins Head office added, “The course allowed us to develop relationships right across the business, pushing me to grow both personally and professionally.
This is the first time that Haskins has offered the higher Level 4 qualification. This year, nine new recruits are working towards their Level 2, many of whom will go onto higher learning in the future.
Emma Farley, HR Manager, said “The development of our people is vitally important to us. Seeing them grow and develop their confidence and skills is fantastic and the benefits to the business are substantial. To complete the course to the standard they did whilst continuing to excel in their day job is commendable and I would like to congratulate each of them.”
To further demonstrate their commitment to training and development, Haskins is working to achieve the Investor In People’s gold award this year.
