Joint Winners Announced in Angmering In Bloom Presentation

At the Angmering In Bloom Competition Awards, joint winners were announced for the Best Front Gardens category. Joint first prize was presented to Mrs Jeniffer McAvoy of Greenwood Drive and Mrs Jan Mockford of Lansdowne Road by Susan Francis Chairman of the Angmering Parish Council, and Julia Phelon, Chairman of Angmering In Bloom Association, at the presentation held at Haskins Roundstone Garden centre. Winners also enjoyed a cream tea after the prize giving ceremony.

Other recipients of Haskins Gift Cards were Best Public House/Hotel garden winners Emma Darling and Karl Potter from The Woodman Arms, Best Allotment category was won by Jeremy Collis who has his at the Honey Lane Allotments

Julia Phelon said: “We thank everyone who took part, and all our sponsors, local businesses and attendees at our fundraising events who have helped towards making Angmering Village look so beautiful this year.”
