Colleagues and customers at the Haskins Snowhill Garden Centre helped Retail Assistant Rose Dower celebrate her 60th birthday (on 29 June). Rose, who joined the garden centre in 1989 when it was just a small retail operation with just 8 staff, was presented with flowers and cards by Assistant Manager Karen Jenkins.

Rose, from Ardingly, said: “It was a pleasant surprise to have the presentation. Even though the centre has grown beyond imagination it has a great team and we know so many of our loyal customers.”

The Snowhill centre near Copthorne was acquired by the £30 million turnover Haskins Garden Centre group in October 2003. It now employs over 90 full and part time personnel.
