Christmas Evening Fundraises
for Naomi House Children’s Hospice
Over 500 children attended a special
Christmas evening organised by the Haskins Garden Centre
at West End, Southampton to fundraise for Naomi House,
the children’s hospice. Father Christmas and
his band of helpers offered children activities including
story telling, glitter tattoos, a raffle and donations.
Claire Huxley from Bitterne
and her daughter Isabelle, 4 and son Charles, 2 were
the first to use the special Santa post box to send
their present wish list for Christmas Day.
Matt Hill, General Manager of the centre, said that they
were delighted with response from customers to the evening.
“
We appreciate the generosity of everyone who attended
the evening that had that special atmosphere which only
the approach of Christmas can bring.”
