Customers Praised for Green Finger Appeal Fundraising

Customers of the Haskins Roundstone Garden Centre near Worthing have been praised for their generosity during the recent Greenfingers Appeal. A cheque for £866 was presented to the appeal’s Treasurer Peter Field at the Chestnut Tree Children’s Hospice near Arundel that received a fully landscaped garden in 2008 where parents, relatives and the hard working carers can find time to reflect on the times of both joy and sadness experienced within the hospice.

The Garden Centre’s General Manager Kirsty Goble and Operations Manager Dean Ridley presented the cheque joined by the Hospice’s Community Fundraiser Denise Thornton and Gardener Shelley Rose.

“We are delighted to present this cheque to support the important projects funded by the Greenfingers Appeal on behalf of our generous customers and our team who created events and competitions during this year’s appeal,” said Dean Ridley.
