Retail Assistant – Indoor

About You
The candidate will need to deliver exceptional customer service skills and be able to work at the required pace to ensure daily replenishment and recovery of stock. You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and have confidence to work independently and as a team player. This job role can be physically demanding and involves some heavy lifting. The ideal candidate should have a basic knowledge of Garden care products with a desire to learn. Previous retail experience would be desirable.

About the role
You will be welcoming customers to the store and assessing their needs by providing assistance and information on the wide range of Garden Care, Pet Accessories and Wildlife products, “going the extra mile” to drive sales and achieve department goals. Maintain stock condition, presentation and stock levels with inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Process POS (Point of Sale)
Sales ordering and till operation
Rotation and care of food items
Replenishing stock
Display and merchandising
General housekeeping duties

Hours Available
8 hours every Saturday
