Previous restaurant experience would be an advantage but not essential.
To provide general assistance within the restaurant which will enable us to exceed customer expectations and to maximize all sales opportunities.
Working 12 hours a week on a 2 week rolling rota to include weekends, overtime is also available
some weeks.
You must be smart in appearance and possess confidence along with an ability to communicate well and deal with customers and any queries they may have.

Restaurant Assistant – Table Clearer

The right candidate will need to be proactive, enthusiastic, energetic and a team-player.

Key responsibilities will include: clearing tables  and ensuring our high customer service practices are sustained.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous food service experience and be able to work in a fast paced environment serving our customers.

Previous catering/hospitality experience would be an advantage but is not essential along with a proven and sound knowledge of customer service.

Restaurant Assistant – Pastry Counter

We are looking to recruit a member of staff to join our team working on the pastry counter.

The right candidate will need to be proactive, enthusiastic, energetic and a team-player.

Key responsibilities will include: food and drink preparation and service, clearing tables, general housekeeping duties and ensuring our high customer service practices are sustained.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous service experience and be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Kitchen Porter

You will be required to assist in the day to day running of a very busy production Kitchen, supplying food for the Restaurant in our Garden Centre.

Duties will include dishwasher loading/unloading, general cleaning duties, storage and unloading of deliveries and vegetable preperation.

Confident and outgoing, you will also enjoy working as part of a team, in a busy kitchen.

Commis Chef

Working 19 hours a week, you will be required to assist in the day to day running of a very busy production kitchen, supplying food for the restaurant in our garden centre. Duties will include the preparation of salads, soups, breakfasts and lunch.

Confident and outgoing you will enjoy working with the public, as this role oversees our counter service; the carvery, pizza oven and patisserie counter.

Retail Assistant – Indoor Gifts

About You

The candidate will need to deliver exceptional customer service skills and be able to work at the required pace to ensure daily replenishment and recovery of stock. You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and have confidence to work independently and as a team player. This job role can be physically demanding and involves some lifting. The ideal candidate should have a basic knowledge of Giftware, Clothing, Food Hall, Cookware and a desire to learn. Previous retail experience would be desirable.

About the role

You will be welcoming customers to the store and assessing their needs by providing assistance and information on the wide variety of Indoor product ranges. “Go the extra mile” to drive sales and achieve department goals. Maintain stock condition, presentation and stock levels with inventory control procedures.

About You
