Students learn gardening skills at Haskins Snowhill Centre

The outdoor staff at our Snowhill centre were delighted to be joined by students from Manor Green College this July, where they helped them learn some new skills.

The College, based in Crawley West Sussex, specialises in helping students between the ages of 11 to 19 who experience a wide range of learning difficulties and life limiting illnesses. During their visit, the students learnt different ways to display and care for plants and how to interact with customers.

David Lilly, General Manager at the Snowhill Centre remarked, “The students and their teachers were brilliant and it was a pleasure to add to their life learning skills. It was amazing to see the students get ‘stuck in’, thinking about colour schemes and the visual elements of displaying plants.”

Haskins wishes all the students every success with their future endeavours.
