Assistant Restaurant Manager

Full Time Role – Salary dependent on experience

At Haskins Garden Centres we constantly strive to improve the service we offer our customers, that’s why the recruitment of our people is so important to us. We currently have the following exciting opportunity to join the team in our busy Restaurant in West End.

You will be required to assist the restaurant manager in leading a large restaurant team and offer excellent customer service through effective product display and presentation to meet challenging company sales targets and objectives.

You will actively contribute towards the achievement of budgeted sales and margins including the overall control of the restaurant stock levels and payroll.

You will be required to work alongside and support your Restaurant Manager in induction and training of all new catering staff. You will also identify individual development needs and actively support their personal training and development plans.

You will have excellent planning and prioritising skills and be able to demonstrate outstanding people and team management.

You should have previous large volume & high turnover catering/hospitality related management experience and you must also have excellent customer service & communication skills.

A working knowledge of health & safety/food hygiene legislation is also required.
