Retail Assistant – Indoor Seasonal

8 hours a week

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team. This role is well suited to a self-motivated and hardworking individual with excellent customer service skills. Based in the Indoor Seasonal Department you should have a basic knowledge of the seasonal demands of the business (Furniture, BBQ’s, Lighting, Christmas etc) and a desire to learn. Previous retail experience is desirable. Involving some heavy lifting this role can be physically demanding.

About the Role
Welcoming customers to the store and assessing their needs, you will provide assistance and information across a wide variety of Indoor product ranges. You will “Go the extra mile” to drive sales and achieve department goals whilst maintaining product condition, presentation, and stock levels within inventory control procedures.

– Process POS (Point of Sale)
– Pricing stock
– Sales ordering and till operation
– Replenishing stock
– Display and merchandising
– General housekeeping duties

Retail Assistant – Outdoor Department

20 hours a week

About You
The candidate will need to deliver exceptional customer service skills and be able to work at the required pace to ensure daily replenishment and recovery of stock. You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and have confidence to work independently and as a team player. Due to the nature of some of the products involved, the candidate must be physically fit and able to lift substantial weights. Previous retail experience would be desirable.

Candidates will need to be flexible during the peak trading periods to work additional hours on weekends and Bank Holidays to include the Christmas and New Year period.

About the role

Maintain stock condition, presentation and stock levels with inventory control procedures.

Restaurant Senior Assistant

Working full-time (38 hours a week) to include alternate weekends and one late night to 7.30pm per week, the right candidate will need to be proactive, enthusiastic, energetic and also a team-player.

Key responsibilities will include food and drink preparation, service and stock replenishment whilst motivating your team to ensure our high customer service practices are sustained.

Previous catering/hospitality experience would be preferred, along with a proven and sound knowledge of customer service.

Restaurant Supervisor

Salary £19,170 – £20,741, dependent on experience

Job Role
Supporting the Restaurant Manager and Supervising the department through its people to deliver excellent customer service, a high-quality food offer and presentation.

Chef de Partie

Full Time – Salary £19,380.19 to £21,160.51 experience dependent

You will be assisting in the day to day running of a busy production kitchen and providing high quality food from an agreed menu.

Confident and outgoing you will enjoy working with the public ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

This role benefits from Sociable hours with no split-shifts as well as alternate weekends off plus a day off in the week and only one late night a week.

You will oversee our counter service, the carvery, pizza oven and patisserie counter. A strong pastry background is also a requirement of this position.

Duties include the preparation of salads, soups, breakfasts, lunch and a wide range of pastry-based products.
