Retail Assistant (Seasonal & Sundries)

We are recruiting a Retail Assistant to our Seasonal and Sundries department on a Part-Time, Permanent basis, working 30.5 hrs per, 3 days in the week and every other weekend.

The role of Retail Assistant
Our Retail Assistants welcome customers to the centre and help with questions or queries across a wide variety of Indoor product ranges. They “Go the extra mile” to drive sales and achieve department goals whilst maintaining product condition, presentation, and stock levels within inventory control procedures. Involving some heavy lifting this role can be physically demanding.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Process POS (Point of Sale)
  • Pricing stock
  • Sales ordering and till operation
  • Replenishing stock
  • Display and merchandising
  • General housekeeping duties

About You
This role is well suited to a self-motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with excellent customer service skills and a desire to learn. Based in the Indoor Seasonal and Sundries Department you will offer excellent service and provide information on the wide range of Christmas Goods, Garden Furniture, Pet Accessories and Wildlife products. Previous retail experience is desirable.

Restaurant Supervisor

We are recruiting a full time Restaurant Supervisor in our Ferndown Restaurant, working 38 hours per week including alternate weekends. £23k-£25k depending on experience.

The role of Restaurant Supervisor
Supporting the Restaurant Manager and Supervising the department through its people to deliver excellent customer service, a high-quality food offer and presentation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Pro-actively supervising department staffing levels
  • Supervising operational performance of the department against key performance indicators
  • Ensuring all security procedures are adhered to
  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager in the recruitment, training and development of all department staff
  • Ensuring Housekeeping standards are maintained to company requirements

About You
This role is well suited to a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual with excellent customer service and communication skills. Being proactive and energetic is essential as this is a busy, fast paced environment. You must have a keen eye for detail, organisational skills, and a flexible attitude. Previous experience as restaurant supervisor is essential.
