The candidate will need to deliver exceptional customer service skills and be able to work at the required pace to ensure daily replenishment and recovery of stock. You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and have confidence to work independently and as a team player. This job role can be physically demanding and involves some heavy lifting. The ideal candidate should have a basic knowledge of plant life and garden sundries along with a desire to learn. Previous retail experience would be desirable.
About the role
You will be welcoming customers and assessing their needs by providing assistance and information on all plants to include care tips, maintenance, suitability for space and taste. “Go the extra mile” to drive sales and achieve department goals. Maintain stock condition, presentation and stock levels with inventory control procedures.
