Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Candidates must be flexible during peak trading periods and willing to work additional hours on weekends and Bank Holidays to include the Christmas and New Year period

Indoor Retail Assistant

8 Hours per week
9am-6pm Sundays

About you
You will need to be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills as well as be able to work at a pace to replenish stock on a daily basis. A desire to work as part of a team but also ‘thinking on your feet’ and using your own initiative are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, be smart in appearance, energetic and enthusiastic. Previous retail or merchandising experience is desirable.

Restaurant Administrator

Part-time

£9.71 per hour
22.5 hours a week
Monday 07:30 – 17:00
Wednesday 08:00 – 14:00
Friday 07:30 – 17:00

Your main focus will be supporting the restaurant management team and administering the weekly stock takes. Ensuring all daily and weekly tasks are completed on our system accurately and in a timely manner, investigating stock taking variances and taking appropriate action where necessary.

You will need to be IT and systems literate, with good administration and personal organisational skills. A large part of this role will be liaising with restaurant staff including the chef team and head office.

Admin experience desirable, full training will be provided. A flexible work ethic is essential.

Chef de Partie

Salary £19,380.19 to £21,160.51 depending on experience

You will be assisting in the day to day running of a busy production kitchen and providing high quality food from an agreed menu.

Confident and outgoing you will enjoy working with the public ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

This role benefits from Sociable hours with no split-shifts as well as alternate weekends off plus a day off in the week and only one late night a week.

You will oversee our counter service, the carvery, pizza oven and patisserie counter. A strong pastry background is also a requirement of this position.

Duties include the preparation of salads, soups, breakfasts, lunch and a wide range of pastry-based products.

You will be required to assist in the day to day running of a very busy production Kitchen, supplying food for the highly successful Restaurant in the Garden Centre. Confident and outgoing, you will also enjoy working with the public, as the role also entails the overseeing of counter service on the Carvery & Pizza Oven. You will supervise other kitchen staff and provide motivation as and when required

Working 38 hours a week you will benefit from sociable hours with no split-shifts as well as alternate weekends off, a day off in the week and only one late night a week.

You should have previous catering/hospitality-based experience and excellent customer service and communication skills.
