Customer Service Assistant

7.5 hours per week
(Friday evening and Saturday)

About You
The candidate will need to deliver exceptional customer service skills and be able to work at the required pace to ensure swift and polite service through checkouts. You will need a warm and welcoming personality, enthusiasm, patience and confidence to work independently and as part of a dedicated team. Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

About the Role
As a customer service assistant you will be the first and last point of contact during our customers visit to the store. We take pride in delivering high standards and achieve this by processing sales and enquiries through the tills with a friendly, caring and timely approach; helping customers with any query, contacting colleagues to help with product care tips and availability, lifts to the car, escalating complaints etc.

The ideal candidate will need to be flexible with an energetic personality and the ability to perform under pressure.

his role will involve some heavy lifting so being physically fit is a requirement of the role.

Indoor Retail Assistant (Weekends)

12 hours per week
10:00am – 4:30pm Saturday and Sunday

£8.72 per hour over 18

Working within our indoor department, applicants should have some experience of retail and be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service.

This role involves working on our seasonal area. This includes selling furniture, bbq’s, lighting, garden decor and then during the autumn and winter months it encompasses our strong Christmas offering. It’s a varied role which involves talking to customers to establish their needs. Suggesting products to help create the lifestyle look they want to achieve and arranging delivery to their home address. Strong merchandising skills and the ability to work at pace to replenish stock is also essential
