Agapanthus are stunning architectural plants with bold blooms on tall stems, standing above thick strappy leaves.
Bold beautiful flowers, usually in blue or purple, but also in white and pink, have become very popular in recent years, looking great in both modern and traditional garden settings.

Also known as African Lily, Agapanthus are summer-flowering herbaceous perennials. They thrive in any well-drained, sunny position and can be planted in the border or also make a striking specimen plant for pots.

  • Water regularly during the growing season and feed weekly until flowers start to show colour.
  • After flowering cut away old stems at the base.
  • Flowering – Mid Summer to Early Autumn.
