Haskins Refund and Exchange Policy

Introduction

We are committed to selling high-quality products and appreciate there may be times when you change your mind or products may need to be returned.

Please make sure that you check your items carefully before you leave the centre. We also recommend that you keep your receipt, as you will need proof of purchase should you need to return products.

Christmas Gift, Returns policy

Unwanted and incorrect goods purchased between 16th October – 24th December 2023 may be returned until the 15th of January 2024.

All other conditions remain the same as our standard refund and exchange policy.

 

Refunds and Exchanges

We are happy to exchange or refund unsuitable merchandise within 28 days of purchase. All items must be returned unused, in their original packaging and with all product tags.

Items returned with a valid receipt are eligible for refund, made via the original payment method. Where you have paid, or part-paid for products using a gift card, refunds will be made to the equivalent value on a new gift card.

Items returned without a receipt will be issued a credit note to the value of the last known selling price.

All returns after 28 days will be at our discretion.

Please note that any goods purchased as part of a promotion will be refunded based on the promotional price. If you are returning items that were purchased as part of a ‘Buy one get one free’, ‘Buy one get one half price’ or ‘3 for 2’, then the promotion will no longer apply, and your refund value will be adjusted accordingly.

Any products which include a free gift with purchase will only be refunded if the free gift with purchase is also returned. This includes Furniture Incentive e-Gift Vouchers. If you are returning items that were purchased as part of the furniture promotion, the Furniture Incentive e-Gift Voucher must be returned. Where some or all of the balance has been spent the refund value will be adjusted accordingly and the e-Gift Voucher will be voided.

Where a promotional coupon has been used as part of a purchase, the value of the coupon will be excluded from the overall refund.

Please note we do not exchange Gift Cards, e-Gift Vouchers, food products and made to order furniture. We also cannot offer refunds or exchanges on earrings due to hygiene reasons.

 

Faulty products

The statutory rights in relation to faulty products will start from the date of purchase or delivery.

Your statutory rights are as follows:

  • Within 30 days of delivery/purchase of the product, you may exercise the right to a refund if the product purchased is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described.
  • After the 30-day period but within six months of purchase and where the product is faulty, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. Where repair or replacement is not possible, or the repair or replacement does not resolve the fault, you are entitled to a refund. Furniture and BBQ products will have their own manufacturers' guarantee.
  • After six months of delivery/purchase, similar rights exist, but only if you can prove that the fault was present at the point of purchase. In addition, if repair or replacement does not resolve the fault, we may make a deduction from any refund for fair use.

For further information about your statutory rights in the UK please contact your local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizen’s Advice Bureau.

Haskins reserves the right to ask for proof of purchase when considering a request for a refund or replacement product. This does not affect your statutory rights.
