Partnership with Home-Start Waverley and Home-Start Surrey Heath spreads Christmas Joy

Haskins Garden Centre’s Forest Lodge in Farnham has donated 96 soft toys to children supported by Home-Start Waverley and Home-Start Surrey Heath as part of a Christmas charity drive. Home-Start Waverley and Home-Start Surrey Heath provide emotional and practical support to families in these regions of Surrey, allowing them to flourish whatever challenges they are facing.

Dawn Murphy, Manager at Home-Start Waverley, said:

“We are so grateful to Haskins for their generous donation, which we know will be really appreciated by the families we support.

“The challenges we have all faced in the last 12 months have put increasing strains on families, and being able to share some festive cheer is hugely welcome!”

Simon Hughes, General Manager of Haskins Forest Lodge Garden Centre, said:

“Community sits at the heart of our core purpose at Haskins Forest Lodge, and continuing to support charities as important as Home-Start Waverley and Home-Start Surrey Heath is a key part of this focus.

“I know it will mean so much to our Forest Lodge Garden Centre staff and customers to see this ongoing support, and the smiles these toys will hopefully bring to local families this Christmas.”

In total, Haskins has donated over 500  cuddly toys to charities across the south this festive season, as part of a continuing mission to support the local communities in which each centre sits.
