Haskins Garden Centre’s Snowhill destination welcomes brand-new Lakeland store

Haskins Garden Centre’s Snowhill branch welcomed a brand-new Lakeland store to the site, enhancing the Copthorne centres offering to the local area.

Lakeland, taking its name from its founding home in Windermere in the Lake District, offers a variety of high-quality cooking, baking, cleaning, and laundry products. The new store opened its doors on 10th November 2023, creating eight jobs in the area, and has already proved popular with visitors to Haskins Snowhill.

Julian Winfield, CEO of Haskins Garden Centres said,

“Our Snowhill centre is already a leading shopping destination for our local community, and Lakeland’s recognised and celebrated quality product range further enhances this offering.

“We now have a centre that is able to offer expert gardening advice alongside a range of quality gardening products, a place to relax with family and friends in our restaurant and coffee shop, and now a place to shop for homeware and cooking products.”

Lakeland’s new store is filled with new ideas and tried-and-tested solutions for the kitchen and home, and Lakeland’s friendly and knowledgeable store colleagues will be on hand to help with any queries and help customers find those products to make life easier. Haskins Snowhill is already home to a family-friendly restaurant, cosy coffee shop, indispensable plant advice centre with friendly staff, and more, combining to make it a hugely popular destination for local families and shoppers.

Emma Kay, Head of Property at Lakeland added,

“It’s a pleasure to be working in partnership with a like-minded family business which shares our values. Having grown from humble beginnings through a passion for quality and customer care, Haskins, much like Lakeland, has established itself as a go-to destination with strong roots in the local community and a loyal following.”
